Tiny Hands Learning Lab

At Tiny Hands Learning Center, our Pre-K classroom is a warm, nurturing, and engaging space designed specifically for children ages 3–5 years old. Our goal is to support each child’s growth socially, emotionally, and academically while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

When we open in August 2026, our Pre-K program will begin as a licensed 2-Star center. Although we are not yet a state-funded NM Pre-K program, we are actively working toward NM Pre-K eligibility and fully committed to meeting and maintaining 5-Star FOCUS quality standards from day one.

Our classroom is thoughtfully designed with clearly defined learning areas, including literacy, math, art, science, dramatic play, and sensory exploration. Children participate in hands-on, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence. Daily routines include circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, rest time, and opportunities for social connection.

Above all, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and valued. Our teachers focus on building strong, trusting relationships with each child and family, providing gentle guidance, encouragement, and individualized support. We strive to create a classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

At Tiny Hands, we are proud to offer high-quality early learning that balances kindergarten readiness with the joy of childhood—laying a strong foundation for your child’s future.

What to Expect in Our Program!

A Loving, Relationship-Based Environment

Your child will be cared for by dedicated educators who focus on building strong, trusting relationships. We prioritize emotional safety, kindness, and consistency so children feel confident and ready to learn each day.

High-Quality Early Learning

Our Pre-K program supports early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development through hands-on learning centers, group activities, and guided play. Lessons are designed to meet children where they are while gently challenging them to grow.

5-Star Standards, Every Day

Although we will open as a 2-Star center, we intentionally follow 5-Star FOCUS standards, including:

  • Small group instruction

  • Well-defined learning centers

  • Developmentally appropriate curriculum

  • Strong family communication

  • High expectations for health, safety, and supervision

Preparation for Kindergarten

We focus on helping children develop the skills they need for a smooth transition to kindergarten — including listening skills, independence, problem-solving, early academics, and positive peer interactions.

A Partnership with Families

We believe families are a child’s first teachers. We value open communication, collaboration, and trust, and we work closely with parents to support each child’s unique strengths and needs.
